Summary of project results

The municipality of Ulanow is rich in cultural heritage. The significant number of monuments and rich cultural heritage can be the basis for further development of the Municipality, especially in the field of tourism. In Bieliny - the oldest village in the Municipality - there is a beautiful historic manor-park complex, which was in a very poor state of repair and, due to the lack of financial opportunities, was undergoing further degradation. The project aimed to expand the cultural offer of the Ulanów Commune based on its heritage and local identity by improving the accessibility of the cultural offer, increasing the quality of the cultural offer and protecting the historic building from degradation.

The project has contributed to the creation of a new space for cultural activities in the Municipality of Ulanów. The manor-park complex has been saved from further degradation, the historic park setting has been renovated and security has been improved, equipment for the new district has been purchased, and the competence of the staff of the cultural institution has been increased.  Thanks to the implementation of the project, the cultural offer of the Ulanów Municipality has been expanded.  A place for social integration, based on local heritage, has been created in the historic manor house in Bieliny. A permanent exhibition of the manor''s culture open to the public is created, and numerous events are held: concerts, performances, shows, educational and cultural workshops, thematic exhibitions, meetings with people of culture and art.

The implementation of the project brought the expected results, i.e. expanded the cultural offer of the Ulanów Commune and improved the management of cultural heritage by creating appropriate conditions for cultural activities and increasing the competence of the staff of cultural institutions. The project allowed the reconstruction and renovation of the manor-park complex in Bieliny, which is one of the most important monuments in the Municipality of Ulanów, which contributed to the restoration of the
and revitalization of cultural heritage sites. For the Beneficiary, the benefits of the project are unquestionable, as the Municipality has become more attractive for both residents and tourists. Tourism is developing, more and more people are learning about the Municipality and the manor-park complex in Bieliny, and the cultural offer has gained greatly in quality and diversity.
