The aim of the project is to ensure the coordinated provision of humanitarian assistance to the population of Ukraine thus effectively organizing and coordinating the voluntary involvement of Latvian citizens, organizations and companies..
Project duration till 31.05.2022, total costs 9997,34 EUR.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to provide salary to 2 lead coordinators, as well as the purchase of fuel for the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid to its recipients.
Summary of project results
Within the framework of the project, the involvement of Latvian civil society in supporting Ukrainian residents was coordinated, providing remuneration to the 2 leading volunteer officers, as well as the purchase of fuel for the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid to the beneficiaries in Ukraine. The project involved more than 300 volunteers who voluntarily sorted, packed the donated cases, and ensured that cases were collected and delivered to the beneficiaries in Ukraine.
