The main purpose of this project is to increase the capacity of non profit organization "Burtnieku kultūrvide" by developing and implementing development strategy for 2023-2026.
Within the project, the composition of the organization will be supplemented, the statutes will be updated and the direction of the main activity will be expanded.
For meaningful and effective strategy, meetings with local socity will be organized, a survey with potential partners and other organizations of the region will be organized, trainings of high-quality image building will be organized and also regular informing of society and our partners about the main results.
With the support of this project, organization "Burtnieku kultūrvide" will be prepared to organize further activities according strategic plan, determining appropriate goals and tasks, evaluating and documenting their achievement.
This will promote the development and growth of organization.

Lack of a Comprehensive Development Strategy:
The organization required a clear and actionable strategic plan for 2023–2026 to define its goals, tasks, and methods for achieving them. This was essential for improving organizational planning and performance.Need for Organizational Growth and Expansion:
There was a need to supplement the organization’s membership, update its statutes, and expand the scope of its main activities to remain relevant and impactful in the community.Limited Community and Partner Engagement:
Effective collaboration with local communities, potential partners, and other regional organizations was limited. The project aimed to improve this through structured surveys, consultations, and meetings to align the organization’s activities with community needs.Weak Public Image and Communication:
The organization needed to improve its public image and ensure regular communication with society and partners about its progress and achievements. High-quality image-building training was necessary to address this gap.Preparation for Long-Term Sustainability:
The project sought to prepare the organization to implement its strategic plan effectively, set realistic goals, and evaluate progress. This was critical to ensure the organization’s sustainable development and ability to achieve long-term growth.
The project implemented several key activities to enhance the capacity and development of "Burtnieku kultūrvide":
- Developed the organization''s Development Strategy for 2023–2026 and began its implementation, defining future goals, mission, vision, and tasks.
- Conducted a SWOT analysis with the involvement of the local community to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Expanded the team by welcoming new members who bring fresh perspectives and ideas.
- Updated and supplemented the organization''s statutes, which had become outdated since 2006.
- Organized digital marketing training, leading to the creation and regular maintenance of the organization’s Facebook page, improving public awareness.
- Introduced quality management principles, including structured planning, task delegation, and regular evaluation of results.
- Additionally, the organization designed a logo, which was an unplanned but valuable outcome.
Results:
- Developed a high-quality, practical long-term strategy, which serves as a foundation for the organization’s growth and expanded activities.
- Created a Facebook page, increasing public awareness of the organization and attracting new members.
- Improved internal team communication via a WhatsApp group, enabling more effective information sharing.
- Implemented a strategic approach to setting and evaluating goals, ensuring structured operations and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaboration with the community and organizing creative workshops increased public engagement and awareness of the organization’s goals.
Target groups and beneficiaries:
- Organization members: Gained new skills and knowledge, boosting the organization’s capacity and fostering personal growth.
