Description

The world is changing rapidly, not just with the advance of scientific progress, but with the challenges we''re facing as a society. Young people are not as they were even 5 years ago, new approaches to youthwork have to be developed, and even more challenges have been introduced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

With this project, we aim to equip our organization and its members with competences, necessary to catch up and address the social issues as they are in the ever-changing landscape of the society. Through activities, such as personal and practical learning, consultation and mentoring on organization management, promotion and fundraising, exercised and practiced in developing an open online youth center; developing an engaged community around our organization, its activities and ideas through regular communication and accessible events; networking with other NGOs in the sphere of non-formal education; engaging passive members and developing internal belonging; supervision of organization’s work and members’ conduct and internal processes; developing a presence  and visibility in community as well as  fostering visual identity.

We will develop recognition in our target audience, achieving and fulfilling our statute goals, as well as cooperation with various actors in the field of youthwork; raise effectiveness of our day-to-day work, having gained new knowledge and practical know how to tackle the challenges, regularly offered in the field of youthwork; streamline internal processes of decision-making, planning and evaluation.

We shall achieve sustainability and capacity by investing in the social capital of our organization. We shall develop new sources of funding, streamline recruitment of members, internal management processes and planning-and-evaluation cycles, and most importantly we will provide our activists with tools that they have been lacking to take our organization to the next level.
