Summary of project results

The project "SEAL as a stronger ecosystem leader" funded by the Active Citizens Fund has come to an end, during which the Latvian Social Entrepreneurship Association (LSUA) improved its visual digital image, created strategy of membership''s attraction and follower''s engagement strategy, realised public opinion research about social entrepreneurship and the role of LSUA in Latvia, and also looked for new ways to more effectively communicate the organization''s activities and involve more interested people in the association''s activities. LSUA is an important player in the field of social entrepreneurship - with the mission of developing social entrepreneurship for long-term changes in Latvia. By bringing together the most important organizations in the field and another interested parts in social entrepreneurship - members'' organizations and regular followers on social media - is promoted an mutual cooperation, exchange of experience and provision of support among players in the field.During the project were created an member attraction and follower engagement strategies, which allow to more purposefully communicate to members, potential members and followers the value created by LSUA - their expertise, social business news, various involvement and development opportunities.

During the implementation of the project, 20 new members have joined LSUA, increasing the number of members to 146 members. Individualized and appropriately selected communication increased the number of followers both on social media (Facebook and LinkedIn) and those who receive the association''s regular newsletters. Data from the public opinion survey conducted at the beginning of the project is an important source of information in various public events. The association is able to offer an easy-to-use, versatile, high-quality knowledge and experience platform, which gathers resources developed by LSUA (for example, the workshop organized during the project "Where is the potential of your organization?") and current affairs of the field. Already now, the information and materials posted on the newly created website are widely used, both for the development of the activities of the social entrepreneurs themselves, and for informing the wider society.

As the LSUA team emphasizes, the project supported by AIF has been an important step in rearranging the organization''s internal resources, introducing new ideas and creating and further using a unified visual and communication strategy.
