Description

Oprema operates under NC 2825 - Manufacture of non-domestic cooling and ventilation equipment, except for household use. Established in 1948, it went through series of restructuring. During privatization process in early 90-ties XXcent., it was fully privatized and is now JSC.

Some of Oprema''s main products are beer/wine/water/juice/cold coffee/milk dispensers.

Most products are sold outside Croatia (approx. 91%, mostly on European Market).

Even though the sector was hit hard by recent pandemic, Oprema maintained positive business results all the time, and completely recovered in 2022. Because of ever growing external challenges, it is important that it keeps its business as efficient as possible.

The Project:

The most important equipment that Oprema uses are tube bending machines, because these machines produce components that are found in every device for cooling and dispensing drinks. Company currently owns several such machines, but to increase its capacity, it needs additional tube bending machine, and this project is about investment into additional tube bending machine with tooling.

The new machine will be faster than the existing ones, and will have some new features. It will significantly increase company’s productivity. The company will be able to produce more units of products per unit of time, and will be able to accept larger orders from existing and new clients, and deliver orders in shorter time.

Overall production costs will also decrease.  Since the machine will be faster than the existing ones, energy costs will also decrease, so with this investment, Oprema will manage to partly offset the negative effect of global price increase.

For the same reason, the consumption of energy will decrease, and net environmental footprint will be positive.

As a result of this project, it is expected that both, operational revenue and operational profit will grow, and company will increase employment.
