Description

The Company KB’ main activity is manufacture of ceramic household and ornamental products.

The company produces and finishes ceramic products (pots, cups, plates, etc.), glass products (cups, trays, bottles, mugs, vases etc.), wood products (cutting boards, bottle racks, etc.), textile products (aprons, T-shirts, etc.) and all of this with signs on local language.

The technology that the Company is currently using in production is inadequate and outdated, and has low automation level. This results in low productivity, and in general, low capacity.

With this project, the company is investing in new technology that will enable higher automation, increase of efficiency in production, and will ultimately lead to increase of production capacity. It will also enable further diversification of the production. All of this will lead to increased revenues and profit. 

It will also enable savings of resources, including savings in energy and material consumption, as some of the material will be recycled.

Summary of project results

The project aimed to resolve the issues of outdated, low-automation technology, which resulted in low productivity and limited production capacity. It also addressed inefficiencies in resource use, including energy and material consumption.

The main activities of this project included investing in new, more automated technology to increase production efficiency and capacity. Additionally, the project focused on resource savings, including energy and material recycling

The project achieved increased production efficiency, higher capacity, diversified product offerings, and resource savings, which led to greater revenues and profit. The primary beneficiary is the company and its employees, whose manual work has decreased significantly, and its customers. The project contributed to the enhanced competitiveness of Croatian economy, to job security, and reduced environmental impact through resource conservation.
