Global statistics show that an average of 611,000 people visit hospitals every day, of which 30% mostly have concerns that should not be directly addressed to a doctor. Most often, people visit a medical institution because of various headaches, and the average person visits a medical institution four times a year on average. The number of healthy years the average person lives is decreasing every year, and humanity is aging very quickly. Therefore, it is of critical importance that medical institutions have modern ICT solutions that simplify the work and activities of all the people there.
The focus of Hospital Wayfinder 2.0 project is to further empower results from project „3D Hospital Wayfinder and Management System“ by implementing new technologies and by integrating developed features into one software, that can be sold wordlwide with minimal setup costs. Implemented technologies include reversed way of indoor positioning, augmented reality for presenting different data and AI based scheduling systems. Project goal is also to presents the results of the project and participate in ISE exhibition to introduce the new paradigm for visiting and managing healthcare institutions – Hospital Wayfinder software, that makes visiting hospitals pleasent for visitors and makes the work and planning for hospitals more effective.
