Description

The main goal of MTÜ Masaan is the provision of social services in Tallinn, Järva County and Rapla County. With our activities, we contribute to the development of human-centered and high-quality social services in Estonian society, offering support to disabled people and their families. We support our clients'' participation in social life, independent living and help them to copy with everyday life. 

The primary target groups of this project are the members of Masaan NGO team. The main goal is to promote two directions in the organization: leadership ability and teamwork. At the moment, the organization does not have a development plan that would give each team member specific guidelines and set common values. Therefore, it is important to jointly create a development document and take concrete steps to increase the team''s ability to cooperate. Since the employees of the organization do very hard mental work, it is important to develop a regular support system with co-visions, supervision and need-based coaching. 

The most important activities of the project: 

• Preparation of the development plan of MTÜ Masaan 

• Developing a transparent and clear management system 

• Covisions and supervision for team members 

• Coaching sessions for team members 

Summary of project results

The project was initiated with the goal of collaboratively developing MTÜ Masaan''s development plan for the years 2023-2027, improving teamwork, and creating a support system for team members.

As part of the project several key activities were carried out to strengthen the organization''s development and teamwork:

Key Achievements:

  • A comprehensive development strategy for MTÜ Masaan for the years 2023-2027 was created, accompanied by a detailed action plan for 2024.
  • The management system of MTÜ Masaan was improved, ensuring clarity, transparency, and well-defined roles for all team members.
  • An employee support system was established, incorporating covision, supervision, and coaching methods to enhance team well-being and professional growth.
  • Through targeted trainings, the organization significantly improved team collaboration and group dynamics.

During the project period, the following activities took place:

  • 3 group supervision sessions
  • 14 group covision sessions
  • 22 individual coaching sessions

As a result of the planned project activities—including training sessions, team events, supervisions, covisions, and coaching—Masaan has developed a stronger and more cohesive team with clearer and more understandable roles. The key outcomes include:

  • The Masaan development document for 2023-2027 has been successfully created.
  • The organization''s management system is now clear and transparent, with well-defined roles that are easily understood by all team members.
  • A comprehensive employee support system has been developed, integrating covision, supervision, and coaching methods to enhance professional growth and well-being.
  • Team collaboration and group dynamics have significantly improved through structured training sessions.

This project played a crucial role in clarifying team roles within a rapidly growing organization, strengthening relationships among team members, and establishing shared values and goals to guide the organization’s future development.
