Description

As part of the project, we will implement the Center for Victims of Domestic Violence in Most, because the situation is deteriorating in this area and no one is systematically working with people in Most and the surrounding area. The intervention center Spirála in Ústí nad Labem, which operates in this sphere, is from Most relatively far away. The project envisages intensive cooperation with the staff of the city of Most, especially from the Social and Legal Protection Authority in Most and with the relevant staff of the District Court in Most. As part of the project a Centre emerges, which will have an advisory position within the Most Regional Charity building. Along with this, we will buy and equip two flats in a common development, which will serve, as needed, either as crisis flats or as longer-term emergency accommodation for about 2-4 months. The Center will have two female full time counselors (most of the victims are women), dedicated to the victims according to their needs and a coordinator - a part-time counselor. The team will also include a psychotherapist and a lawyer who will help the victims as part of an interdisciplinary team. The team coordinator will oversee cooperation with other institutions (wider interdisciplinary team) as well as counseling and support activities for male victims. His task will also be to organize education for cooperating organizations and enlightening activities, such as articles in the media and the operation of both apartments. It will also prepare three methodologies that will prepare a new Comprehensive Support Program for victims of domestic violence in Most.
