Description

The aim of the project is to strengthen both the capacities of the applicant and the capacities of its members. This goal will be achieved by January 31st, 2023 by accomplishing the following: A) media visibility of the applicant and its 13 members on the domestic and foreign music scene, B) professionalization of professional and managerial services of 3 employees and 2 representatives of the applicant and 13 Roma music groups, C) establishing international cooperation with a Norwegian partner in the field of music and transfer of international experience. The project has 1 partner from Norway and 2 partners from the Czech Republic. Within the project, 5 project activities will be implemented: 1) media coverage of the association and its members, 2) management in culture, 3) international cooperation, 4) exchange of know-how, 5) management and publicity. There are two target groups: 1) 3 employees of the association and 13 Roma music members of the association and 2)the general public in the Czech Republic and abroad, the professional cultural community and Roma music and non-music artists (non-members of the association). The project outputs will be: 9 video clips, online consultations with a Norwegian partner, coaching, lectures and a workshop, and the participation of the association and selected members in Norway at the festival. The innovation aspect of the project is the fact that the applicant involves within its activities experts in the field of PR, advertising, grant and subsidy consulting, finance, music promotion, organizing cultural events, etc. with the goal of professionalizing Roma music artists. In addition, these experts will be teamed with Romani music artists, who usually cannot find their way to these experts and need their services to develop their cultural activities.
