Summary of project results
Funding for social services makes it difficult to introduce new, often expensive, modern technologies and tools. Planning the volume of services, or shifts
and field care routes, is an integral part of the care service. Due to constant changes, the manual planning system was breaking down and the whole
process had to be automated. If the situation was not addressed, the whole system was at risk of collapse. Through the grant it was possible to introduce
a more flexible way of planning services. With the software, it is possible to create a plan for caregivers after entering parameters and send changes to
the plan in real time to the mobile app. The system also records service requests from interested people or users and can be evaluated.
As a result of the project, a functional scheduling system was put in place that created space for additional requests from users or service seekers.
Through the project, the variables that enter into the whole planning process have been named and evaluated.
Consultations with software trainers, online webinars and face-to-face training sessions were also conducted to clarify requirements and deliverables.
Informal collaboration was established with another nonprofit organization that uses the Chytra organizace system.
Discussions are now underway which may lead to a move to a new comprehensive operating system for the care service.
The introduction of the planning system has created an overview of the requirements for care services from prospective and existing users.
Head of service managers, known as route planners, will save a lot of time spent drawing up the plan.
Carers have a service plan available on their mobile phone, showing changes in real time.
Social social workers can keep track of service requests from prospective and existing users and offer services already with a specific timeframe.
