Description

The project will make it possible to acquire and strengthen the knowledge and skills of the employees of the organization Autis Centrum, o.p.s. in digital technologies. As part of the project, laptops with software licenses will be purchased and, thanks to an IT specialist, digital processes in the organization will be set up. Furthermore, workers will be trained in the use of IT technologies. The goal of the project is to enable assistants in social services to report the provision of services in an electronic database and to streamline the operation of the service. Another goal of the project is to train the organization''s employees in the use of technology to make the internal communication of the homesharing team and the organization''s employees more efficient and enable the development of PR and fundraising in the organization. Thanks to the project, the organization will advance in the use of digital technologies. The project will benefit the organization, its employees and, indirectly, the target group of people with autism, who will be able to provide a more specialized and efficient service.

Summary of project results

The project was mainly focused on strengthening the competences of employees in the field of digital technologies (cloud services, reporting system, Google platform and its individual tools) with the aim of facilitating the running of social services and increasing the use of targeted digital technologies by employees  in the normal agenda within social services. The project also responded to the issue of the insufficient equipment of the organization in terms of hardware and                                              software, which allows, among other things, to effectively report performance electronically in social services or to communicate online within the work team, individual services or other work groups.

2 activities were implemented within the project.
→ A1 Purchase, setup and active use of digital tools and software: 2 laptops and 3 software licenses were purchased from the project, which made it possible to ensure electronic reporting of services (incl. reporting of DPP assistants), communication and data sharing in the homesharing team and among the organization''s employees, hold online meetings, share data in the framework of PR and fundraising. The output of the activity was the purchase of 2 laptops and 3 software licenses, which serve the organization''s employees in order to provide quality social services for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The purchased digital tools enable electronic reporting of social services, data sharing and communication in favor of CS.

→ A2 educational activity – training for workers in the field of IT technologies: → the activity took place with the aim of strengthening the competences of  workers to use digital technologies, i.e. in particular Google cloud services and applications and the eQuip electronic system. A total of 2 trainings in the use of digital technologies were implemented for a total of 23 employees of Autis Centrum, o.p.s. The topics of the training were devoted to the use of digital technologies in social services (Google platform, eQuip, marginally MS office and their overlaps). The change thanks to the project occurred in the increase of awareness of digital technologies, which employees are currently using more in their work (it emerged from the evaluation questionnaire). The knowledge gained as part of employee training was used in the creation of materials for the Brand manual or rebranding of the organization.

Employees began to use cloud services more and improved their use of the Google platform and its capabilities. Thanks to the project, assistants at DPP were able to start reporting electronically to the system for reporting the performance of social services, and the coordinator of the newly implemented community homesharing service can communicate online with her team. The project has moved the organization as a whole, especially in the area of ​​the use of digital technologies, the use of which has increased significantly thanks to the project, even among those employees who had a negative attitude towards digital technologies in the past. Thanks to the aforementioned impacts, it is currently possible to provide clients (the target group of PAS and their families) with social services or a new community homesharing service in the territory of the South Bohemian Region more efficiently, and thus with better quality
