Description

5. change of the city''s zoning plan. This important material, which concerns all citizens of the city of Prostějov for many years to come, goes against the public interest and the quality of life in the city in several cases. The most visible change is the construction in close proximity to the Hloučela biocorridor - the site of the intended new city park. And this despite the fact that there are many other, as yet undeveloped areas in the city, which are primarily intended for construction. Instead of expanding the biocorridor, it is supposed to be suppressed by construction. We DO NOT AGREE with this and we strive to save the forest park.

We have paid for a lawyer who has already helped us in the past period. We gathered the necessary signatures (almost 1500) and became representatives of the public. We filed objections at the public hearing, which the attorney helped us draft. Speech by a member of the AJDONY Association at the Prostějov City Council meeting on item 18. Issuance of the 5th amendment to the Prostějov RMP
The AJDONY Society filed a lawsuit against the City of Prostějov - a motion to annul part of the general measure No. 1/2023 - V. amendment to the Prostějov zoning plan
Media coverage of the issue

We succeeded in getting the controversial part concerning the forest park removed from the 5th amendment to the zoning plan. We also challenged some parts of the 5th amendment to the master plan that, for example, reduced the protection of housing.
The city leadership bowed to public pressure and removed this controversial section from the 5th amendment.
We also succeeded in preventing the development of an area that could have been used as a park in Domamyslice. The establishment of an official road along part of Hloučely, which in the next
in the next amendment to the zoning plan to allow further development in its immediate vicinity.
Thus, the Prostějov public benefits most from the project, as the Hloučela forest park remains untouched and the zoning plan is closely monitored.
