Description

The Loli Ruža z.s., wants to create a community space for meeting people from our community. To organise cultural and social events, workshops and lectures for children and young people, but also for the general public, to create a community to help each other, share their knowledge, spend leisure time together and support each other.. Encourage children and young people to actively spend their free time. Or creating a club for mothers with children (support and help for parents). Improve children''s social and social status and understanding so that their path to art is simultaneously a path to good interpersonal relationships.

Summary of project results

We want to help break down the barriers between the majority and the minority. To help improve social and health conditions that limit personal development. Disadvantaged children in our community come from poorer families. Parents do not have enough money to spend on educational and leisure activities that help the children to develop in their talents and skills, but also help them to integrate into society or join the community. We also want to use our activities to prevent risky behaviour in children and young people.

Our motivation is to continue the good work we have started to spread awareness of the association among the general public. To run a club for children, young people and people from disadvantaged backgrounds where they could attend for free.  The aim is for the youth to spend their free time in a good way, e.g. in nature, to get acquainted with the surrounding sights and, above all, to acquire habits where one can spend time in a meaningful way and to influence children in the sense of prevention.

Roma children did not know how to integrate into society or the collective, but thanks to leisure activities we tried to create a sense of success and self-confidence

in the children. After connecting  with non-Roma children, the Roma children gained self-confidence and self-confidence.
