Description
We are requesting a software application (SaaS) for effective management of volunteers, we are connecting it with the nationwide volunteer portal vlnapomoci.cz for a simple and clear search for volunteer opportunities in the Czech Republic. The aim of the project is to involve the Volunteer Center in the Wave of Help platform and to use the Sinch software for the registration and mediation of volunteering. We will adapt the software during the project implementation Sinch for DC needs and entering existing data into the system. The project is intended for volunteers and for organizations that send or receive volunteers.
Summary of project results
We introduced the OnSinch system to the tools of the organization of volunteers in the Ústí Region; we used the Wave of Help platform to make the needs of volunteers more visible; above all, the entire tool has proven itself since March 2022, when we provided acute humanitarian aid at the Regional Assistance Center for Helping People from Ukraine in Ústí nad Labem. We have unified the registration of new volunteers. All coordinators use a single database of registered volunteers and work with data in the same way. The time required for data registration by individual workers and cooperating organizations has decreased. We are working together on modifying the Sinch system for effective management of volunteers. The existing system connects us with other organizations.
