Description
Via discussion meetings and spreading of their results the project solves negative or hateful atmosphere of attitudes towards low-threshold social work and people at risk of social exclusion or otherwise vulnerable. The project will increase the capacity of the (applicant) organization to carry out PR and will create network of supporters, including stakeholders who will help enforce the field of low-threshold social work and needs of vulnerable groups of people. Dissemination of information through discussion meetings will have an impact on the status of low-threshold social institutions services, among others, in public administration and the general public. The debates will inform about the activities of the services, about their effectiveness and benefits for individuals and society as a whole and their necessities in the running of civil society. The same principle of dissemination of information is used in disadvantaged groups, ie target groups of services for which the project will focus on identifying and communicating them attitudes and needs. The representatives of the groups themselves can talk about their situation at the meetings, and this will gradually happen destigmatization of groups, strengthening the partnership and participatory principle and strengthening social reconciliation.
The core activity of the project consists of series of public discussion meetings which will host interesting and inspiring people connected to street social work (or streetwork or outreach work). A podcast from each discussion meeting will be created and disseminated. We strive to improve public awareness on streetwork and on the same hand improve its reputation, as well as improve the attitude of society towards its vulnerable members.
