Description

The work in the future is connected with high level of uncertainty as a result of global economic trends changes,
Work 4.0 and climate changes impact. This project will help to build NaZemi capacities so that it is capable of
monitoring current trends in the field of work and strengthen active citizenship through public awareness and
education, both with the aim to advocate for decent and meaningful forms of work for us and worldwide. Within the
project NaZemi will strengthen sustainability of the theme of decent work through establishing network of
collaborators and deepening its expertise.

Summary of project results

Due to the capacious nature of the project, the focus on changes in society was rather secondary and could not be mapped directly. Although we focused on strengthening personnel and professional capacities within the team and the entire organization, it is finally possible to observe social impact after all. During the project we realized that within processing the topic of decent work, we have shifted attention to the starting points and principles behind the understanding and approach to work. Some key actions we thus aimed to support the emerging non-growth group within NaZemi so that this group would have enough opportunities to reflect on the issue of anchoring work in the economic structures of the company as part of its activities. Not only did the greater orientation in non-growth and its policies make it possible to give our approach to the topic of work a new comprehensible framework, but we contributed overall to a significant raising awareness of this approach externally and supported the development of the non-growth movement in our country. Since the long-standing struggle for decent working conditions, we are like this shifted to emphasizing the necessity of changing relationships and shifting nature to the center of interest. The real systemic impact of the changes will be observable only in the longer term.
