The project involves an investment in innovative approaches for the development of local employment, by stimulating and facilitating access to employment for employable people with disabilities, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the implementation of measures included also in the local development strategy created within the framework of the project “Grow Through Activating Local Potential (GALOP)”. The activities are envisaged to carry out motivational training for people from the target group with a focus on promoting their participation in the labour market and creating skills for performing well in the workplace and/or adapting to the working conditions when entering employment. Training under key competence 4 "Digital competence" will be conducted, which will enable the trained target group for successful future placement in the labour market. In view of the development of information and communication technologies and the increase in the volume of information available on the Internet, there is a need to have specific knowledge and skills to work with the existing technological infrastructure. Employment will be provided for 7 people with disabilities who are eligible for employment for a period of 12 months in Ivanovo municipality. Another important part of the project is the organization of round tables and the conducting of training sessions for employers. The following activities are planned to be implemented: 1. Project management. Information and publicity. 2. Selection of the target group of employable people with disabilities. 3. Motivational training sessions for unemployed people with disabilities who are eligible for employment from Ivanovo municipality  4. Provision of training . 5. Investing in innovative approaches for the development of local employment opportunities for unemployed people with disabilities who are eligible for employment.

Summary of project results

The two main challenges of the project was to develop and implement innovative approaches aimed at creating jobs for disabled people with the right to work form Ivanovo municipality, and at stimulating the economic activity by developing tourism in the municipality.

The project was essential for the local disabled people with the right to work. The project''s objectives were achieved, employment was ensured for 7 people with disabilities for a period of one year, and the remaining vulnerable persons who took part in the trainings acquired skills and competences enabling active inclusion in the labor market, including interest in looking for work with local employers. The area around the UNESCO site - Ivanovo Rock Churches was improved and modernized, a parking area for cars and buses was built, equipment was provided for the citizens to access the site in an ecological and non-traditional way, as well as for guarding and securing the area. The results had an impact on the local unemployed people with disabilities as well as on the local employers and the tourists visiting UNESCO site Ivanovo Rock Churches.

Disabled people and employers from the municipality benefited from the specific trainings conducted under the project. Employment was created and guaranteed for 7 people with disabilities with the right to work for one year. Equipment was provided for the workplaces for the hired employees. Parking for cars and buses, equipped with a barrier system, was built and electric scooters and tricycles with GPS tracking system were provided to facilitate the tourists visiting Ivanovo Rock Churches. Multimedia content and functional informational WEB-based application with integration with Google Maps were developed to promote tourism on the territory of the municipality.
