Description

Project “Museum of gardening – a living tale of the gardening region Lyaskovets” is aimed at creating possibilities for improvement of the presentation of the Museum of gardening in Lyaskovets as a tourist destination and improvement of its presentation as a tourist product through renovating the document hall and the exterior exhibition areas of the Museum. The unique theme and presentation of the Museum of gardening in Lyaskovets is dedicated to the story of the Bulgarian gardeners, who became famous in XIX and XX c. in Europe and the world with their knowledge and skills for growing vegetables. This unique historical process has a great impact on the region but is fairly unknown to the Bulgarian society and the Museum is an interesting destination with this specific theme. Through the activities, planned in the project proposal, the exhibition areas will be modernized and renovated, as well as the whole presentation of the museum as a tourist product. With the improvement of the equipment – replacing old exhibition equipment and improvement of the conditions in the exterior exhibition area, will be created environment answering to the expectations of the visitors. For popularizing the museum through different ways targeted to visitors from the whole country, it is planned renovating the design of the existing website of the Museum; as well as buying souvenirs. The implementation of project “Museum of gardening – a living tale of the gardening region Lyaskovets” will provide an opportunity for popularizing of the Museum of gardening for the general public and through that popularizing and preserving the local history of the town of Lyaskovets.
