Within the framework of the project, three new jobs for operators of welding equipment will be opened at the Klimatech AD plant, located on the territory of the town of Dimitrovgrad. Newly hired workers will be selected, with the assistance of the local Labor Bureau, from the pool of unemployed and inactive people and/or young professionals with no experience and regardless of ethnicity and religion. They will have the opportunity to develop their skills, gain knowledge and experience, receiving a new qualification. Working with equipment that is a technological novelty for the Dimitrovgrad Municipality region, the newly appointed persons will develop competencies necessary in relation to the future of work with an emphasis on new technologies. The employment of these people will support their active integration into the working environment and that will have a positive effect on their socio-economic integration. The new welding equipment for laser and orbital welding, which has not yet been implemented in the company''s practice, will be purchased to ensure the workload of the newly appointed workers. Implementation of modern technologies in the production of "Klimatech" AD will contribute to the development of products with high added value by the enterprise and improvement of its resource efficiency. The investment will improve the working environment, creating an expert and motivated human resource.
Summary of project results
The implementation of the project aimed at contributing to reducing the unemployment in Dimitrovgrad municipality and providing additional labor force for the project promoter. The creation of three new jobs at Klimatech AD under the programme contributed to the improvement of employment. Another challenge was to overcome the technological lag of the project promoter and the regional machine manufacturing branch as a whole. This goal was achieved by the purchase and implementation of welding equipment, which is innovative for the enterprises in the municipality.
The project implementation contributed to the improved employment in the town. The laser and orbital welding technologies introduced in Klimatech AD production process were innovative for the enterprises in the municipality and this helped overcome the regional lag in terms of technology. The project contributed to the development of new professional competences in mechanical engineering.
Three new jobs were created for unemployed people from Dimitrovgrad municipality. Employment for the newly hired people, including work with equipment for laser and orbital welding, was maintained throughout the entire project duration. For this purpose, laser and orbital welding equipment was delivered and implemented into operation resulting in less waste material and gasses emitted during the welding process and reduced harmful impact of the process on the people and environment. Training was provided and eight unemployed youths acquired competences to work with the equipment purchased under the project, which enhanced their chances to find job in the area. Klimatech''s goal to strengthen its image as a correct employer and partner, committed to the development of the labor market in Dimitrovgrad municipality, was achieved.
