Description

Valchi Dol Municipality, together with the Civil Society Forum Association – partner under the project and in cooperation with the Valchi Dol Labour Office Directorate will establish a Centre for Innovative Public Services (the Centre), through which the parties will create effective conditions for search for, surveying, preparation of an assessment of the needs of the services users in the Centre; development of an individual plan of users of the Centre; hiring, training and realisation of unemployed jobseekers, as well as involuntarily unemployed working-age people (people of working age who are forced to take daily care of their sick children or sick relatives) from 22 settlements in the municipality of Valchi Dol. The municipality will appoint unemployed people to the position of coordinator of the Centre – 1, mediator – 2 and domestic worker - 18. The Municipality will develop an Unemployment Analysis, including involuntarily unemployed people of working age from the municipality and a Local Employment Development Programme. The domestic workers will provide care, for consideration, to children with a permanently reduced working capacity of more than 50% to 89% and adults with permanent disabilities without a certified need for personal assistance and people of over-working age who are unable to care for themselves, who have a certified degree of reduced working capacity. They are looked after mostly by people with working capacity – mothers, daughters and sons, part of whom have a high level of educational attainment and professional qualification. This innovative approach will allow for involuntarily unemployed working-age people not seeking employment to work in their field of qualification and will lead to the development of the employment in the municipality. The result is a decrease in unemployment, overall economic development of the municipality, as well as local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups in public life.
