Description
The main activities are the specific architectural and construction activities to be carried out in the building of the Prosveta - 1927 Community Center to ensure the necessary class of energy efficiency according to the results of the energy audit to improve energy performance of the building and its transformation into a building with close to zero consumption.The project envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency, accompanying construction and installation and finishing works, construction of new heating and ventilation systems and providing a publicly accessible environment in the building of local cultural significance of the Prosveta - 1927 Community Center, located is in Regulated Land III, quarter 30, according to the plan of the village of Gramatikovo, Malko Tarnovo Municipality.
Summary of project results
The main goal of this project proposal was Improved energy efficiency in the building of Prosveta 1927 Community Center - Gramatikovo village. By applying these measures, the energy performance of the building and its transformation into a building with close to zero consumption is improved. Before the implementation of the measures from the energy audit of the building of the National Chitalishte "Prosveta-1927" in the village of Gramatikovo, Malko Tarnovo municipality, it was established that the current state of the building heating system does not provide the required sanitary and hygienic standards for thermal comfort of the premises used. The enclosing structures do not cover the modern thermal technical indicators for energy efficiency. The integrated energy performance of the building does not meet the current regulatory requirements for energy efficiency. In its initial state, the building was rated energy class "F".
The implemented measures were: Improving the thermal characteristics of walls by thermal insulation of facades; Improving the thermal characteristics of transparent enclosing elements by replacing windows; Improving the thermal characteristics of a roof by thermal insulation of roof elements; Improving the thermal characteristics of the floor through thermal insulation bay windows; Increasing the efficiency of heat supply by utilizing RES from biomass; Increasing the efficiency of the ventilation installation; Building automation and control system; Replacement of lighting fixtures; Construction of a photovoltaic installation for production of electricity for own needs.
As a result of the project implementation the following main results are achieved: - 411.13 t CO2 / g achieved emission savings; - 348.41 MWh / y achieved energy savings; - 48 706 EUR / year achieved money savings.

Improved bilateral cooperation with interested stakeholders in the field of energy efficiency to present good practices and future development of the city and the municipality in this regard.
