Description
The project is the result of identified needs of the September for compliance with the requirements of the current standards and norms for achieving a highly energy efficient and decarbonized building stock, increasing the expert capacity in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and improving living conditions. The project includes the implementation of energy saving activities in the building of the VAZRAZHDANE - 1926, Karabunar and construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant, according to the Energy Efficiency Inspection Report, necessary to achieve the indicators of the procedure, as well as construction and author''s supervision.
Summary of project results
Poor energy efficiency of buildings and high electricity costs. The project includes the implementation of energy saving activities in the building of the VAZRAZHDANE - 1926, Karabunar and construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant. General goals: By building two independent sources of renewable energy - air heat pump and photovoltaic installation for own consumption will increase the production of energy from renewable sources. The combination of renewable energy technologies with the developed package of energy saving measures will be achieved by improving the ЕЕ of a municipal public building.
Energy saving measures consist of the following: o thermal insulation and implementation of new silicone plaster on the facades, including eaves and bay windows - 10 cm. EPS; o replacement of the facade joinery with new PVC joinery. Replacement of facade doors with new aluminum doors, including turning around the windows and doors from the inside with plasterboard; o the area of the plinth - from elevation ± 0.00 to the terrain is plastered with mosaic plaster; o complete repair of the roof - new concrete for slope; the floor slab is insulated from above by 12 cm. XPS, protected by cement screed; new waterproofing - roll; o replacement of existing gutters and downpipes with new ones; o new lightning protection installation; o replacement of all cladding on the roof and eaves with new ones made of galvanized sheet metal; The project envisages the construction of air conditioning systems to maintain a comfortable microclimate in the separate rooms, as well as the replacement of all electrical installations and an air heat pump. A photovoltaic installation with a maximum power of 29.70 kWp will be built. for own consumption. The power plant DOES NOT RETURN electricity to the power supply system. This is ensured by a device for monitoring and energy management, which in addition to the monitoring itself performs active regulation of the inverters according to the current electricity consumption. It does not allow them to produce more power than consumed by the site, ie. in case of reduced consumption, the device limits the power produced by the FEC to cover the site''s own electricity needs.
As a result of the project implementation the following main results are achieved: - 1 567.66 t CO2 / g achieved emission savings; - 1 328.53 MWh / y achieved energy savings; - 71912 EUR / year achieved money savings.

Improved bilateral cooperation with interested stakeholders in the field of energy efficiency to present good practices and future development of the city and the municipality in this regard.
