Description

The proposal envisages construction of geothermal installations and reconstruction of internal heating ones in the buildings of two kindergartens on the territory of Sofia Municipality, Kremikovtsi district: For KG 94 "Detski sviat", Buhovo is provided: - Construction of a heat-pump installation of the "ground-water" type, utilizing the heat from the earths bowels through a serpentine dug in the yard of the kindergarten; - Reconstruction of the internal heating installation; - Delivery and installation of highly selective solar collectors for domestic hot water supply; For KG 58 "Slanchevo utro", Chelopechene district it is envisaged: - Construction of a heat-pump installation of the "ground-water" type, utilizing the heat from the earths bowels through a serpentine dug in the yard of the kindergarten; - Reconstruction of the internal heating installation and installation of fan convectors for high wall installation. The implemented package of measures will contribute to the achievement of long-term economic benefits for the local community and the region, as follows: - Total expected production of geothermal energy for the 2 kindergartens - 240,761 MWhy - Total estimated annual reductions of CO2 emissions in tonnes of CO2 eq. RES for the 2 kindergartens - 289,33 tCO2 - Total installed capacity for production of energy from geothermal energy in the 2 kindergartens - 0,28 MW The activities envisaged in the project will provide comfort of living during the heating season, corresponding to modern standards and will lead to real energy savings and prolong the period of operation of the heating system. The project envisages a partnership between a public institution on the part of the beneficiary Sofia Municipality, Bulgaria and a private company on the part of a donor Verkis Consulting Engineers, Iceland for exchange of expertise, knowledge and good practices on RES and low carbon economy through planned workshops. and joint events.
