Description

The project proposal envisages the implementation of energy saving measures, prescribed in the prepared energy efficiency report of Street Lighting at Marin Boev Street, Georgi Dimitrov Street, 23 Septemvri Street, Otets Paisiy Street, Cyril and Methodius "," Raina Knyaginya "," Hristo Botev ","Dimitar Blagoev "," Hristo Smirnenski "," Georgi Mihailov "," Rayko Daskalov "," St. Ivan Vazov "and Philip Totyu Street in Knezha, Knezha Municipality. According to the regulation, the following measures are envisaged: 1. Replacement of luminaires with new LED luminaires: The proposed measure includes replacement of all luminaires with new Led luminaires with power from 22 to 100W, min. 120-140lm / W. The luminaires must have zero light upward. The luminaires will have electronic ballast and a efficiency of 95%. 2. Installation of solar lamps for sidewalk lighting: The possibility of using renewable energy sources to supply street lighting on sidewalks has been evaluated. It is possible to use a solar lamp with a built-in battery with a power of 20W, without the need for additional power supply. The measure will save 12% of total energy consumption after ECM. The envisaged activities aim at increasing the energy efficiency through technological upgrading and modernization of outdoor artificial lighting systems. The main purpose of the project is to reduce carbon intensity and increase security of supply, as well as achieving the following results:

• Improving the energy efficiency of street lighting on the territory of Knezha;

• Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions;

• Reduction of the energy costs of the municipality;

• Improving the quality of street lighting and increasing the percentage of light;

• Improving road safety for drivers and pedestrians at night. • Increasing the production of energy from renewable sources;

• Increasing the capacity of the beneficiary in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy management.
