Summary of the results

The implementation of the initiative was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The partners had to adapt to new conditions and due to travel restrictions in 2020, the activities were as well modified. Nevertheless, 7 workshops, 1 masterclass and 2 showcase concerts with the participation of 2 Norwegian and 2 Slovak artists were organised. The events were streamed on-line on social networks as well as several public radio stations in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. Norwegian artists presented themselves at workshops and showcase concerts, as well as newly studied compositions by composer Arne Nordheim performed by accordionist Peter Katina. The events were attended by students from musical school in Slovakia, pedagogues and publicists, altogether by more than 100 participants. Despite the difficult COVID-19 pandemic situation new possibilities of communication, planning, cooperation arose and the cooperation between Slovak and Norwegian artists was strengthened via exchange of experience.
