Summary of the results

The project was based on a study visit to partner organisation in Norway with a focus on studying strategies for coping with the impact of the pandemic on LGBT+ organisations and communities in terms of providing community counselling, organising the PRIDE Košice festival and other events, and also aimed to share experiences in fundraising and establishing partnerships for cross-border European projects such as Erasmus+.

The main outcome of the project was the implementation of a study visit which took place in October from 14-19 October 2021. The visit was carried out by 6 persons from Oz Saplinq (9 representatives from the Norwegian partner were involved in the activities). An important outcome of the project was outlining new strategies for fundraising, which will contribute to diversifying Saplinq''s income and sustainability. Oslo Pride''s working visit included a visit to their headquarters in the centre of Oslo, which they share with other Norwegian similar organisations. Individual representatives of these organisations presented their work to the Saplinq team, discussed the situation of LGBT+ rights in Slovakia and Norway, and shared experiences from practice (for example, with an organisation that runs a support helpline for LGBT+ youth).
