Description
The objective of the Romanian partner ASSOC (a Romanian NGO with relevant experience in the social services area) and Focus Care Academy (a Norwegian LTD with expertise in recruitment and language education to nurses and other health professionals, basic education in Norwegian - written/oral -, further education in nursing with particular emphasis on elderly care and geriatrics in general) was to prepare an application for a donor partnership project to be submitted under the Local Development Programme.

Summary of the results
As result of the meetings held in Oslo, a partnership agreements and an application form were drafted.
The activities carried out and the intentions expressed during the implementation of the bilateral initiative develop the framework for future collaborations, for transfer of good practices in the field of care for the elderly and on the sustainability of services that comply with quality standards in the field. In the long-term, strengthening the relations between the partners can lead to collaborations in the same field of interest for the Norwegian partner, and in complementary fields for the Romanian partners and other authorities involved in the project activities.
