Bilateral funds were used by the Sense International Romania to build a partnership with the Signo Foundation Norway, a NGO offering services to persons with deaf blindness in Norway and internationally. The Sense International Romania intended to apply for funds at the call for project proposals ”Inclusive Education for Children and Youth at Risk”, with the aim of improving educational inclusion for children with deafblindness and sensory impairment in Romania.

Summary of the results

The partners explored the possibility of joint involvement in the preparation, submission and implementation of an eligible project under the call "Inclusive Education for Children and Youth at Risk", in this respect being signed a letter of intent for future collaboration.

In this context, the representatives of the Sense International Romania had the opportunity to discuss directly with specialists from Norway, especially about the way in which this country went through the stages towards an inclusive education of children with deafblindness, a particularly important aspect for the development of future projects within the Romanian foundation.
