Description

The project aims at sharing best practices and strengthening the cooperation in the area of preventing and combating domestic and gender based violence, including gender equality, between Donor and Beneficiary states of EEA and Norway grants, including at the level of Programme Operators. Thus, 2 representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Justice, as PO of the “Justice” programme, with domestic and gender based violence as one of the program’s areas, will attend a conference on gender equality, organised by the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Commission for Citizenship and

Summary of the results

Two representatives of the Programme Operator participated to the Conference „A key for economic and social development In Europe and beyond”, organized by the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality and the Norwegian Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombudsman, in Reykjavik (Iceland), during 31 October – 1 November 2019. This event facilitated the sharing of best practices on lessons learnt in gender cooperation from Iceland, Portugal, Norway to the Beneficiary states of EEA/Norway Grants (Estonia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Lithuania) which are currently implementing programs in the field of domestic and gender based violence.
