Description

Main objective: Creating good practices in documenting and recovering/retrieving, archiving and promoting the history of a minority community, the Romanian LGBTQI+, using the Norwegian model of LGBTQI+ history museums and culture
Main activities:
• Study visits to Oslo and Bergen
• Documenting activities for the development of two shows ("Liberty?" and "Trans Lucid"), which includes the creation of concepts, scenography and music under the supervision of consultants and using the feedback from the Romanian and Norwegian partners
•  „Trans Lucid” will have the premiere in TM during Pride 2023

Summary of the results

Invisible Histories" was about putting a magnifying glass on a community that was considered illegal until 2001, a community with a history of criminal records and a special relationship with security

The activities carried out were directly correlated with the productions within the "Invisible Histories" project: the transLucid show, the exhibition "Tabachera cu scorpion - a visual foray into a queer novel", the documentary cine-concert "Liberty?", the "Museum of History and Culture" exhibition Queer in Timisoara" with the subject [queer love].

Digitizing the exhibition "Tabachera cu scorpion - a visual foray into a queer novel" on an online platform means opening it up for online visit to any public and makes it accessible in the future without the need for other human or financial resources to support it.
The "transLucid" show was recorded on video and has a trailer, both with subtitles in Romanian, so that the show can be performed and replicated at national and international theater festivals.
"transLucid" marked a first at the national level and through the award at the UNITER Gala, which will be mentioned and documented at the collective national level as such.

The edited and raw materials from "Liberty?", as they were documented, indexed and archived, will serve in the future as the basis for the development of the project from a cine-concert short film into a feature-length documentary film.
