Main objective:
Transfer of knowledge and best practices in order to consolidate and increase the capacity of the creative industries between Timisoara 2023, and Bodo, European Capital of Culture (EcoC) in 2024
Proposed activities:
• Opening ceremony of the event: Timisoara European Cultural Capital 2023, followed by a series of workshops held in Timisoara (3 days) with participation of a Norwegian delegation
• Production 6 short promotional and educational documentaries in Timisoara, with accent on the independent creative industries and on the local cultural sector
• Workshops in Bodo and
Summary of the results
Through the activities carried out in this project, the cities of Bodo and Timișoara have been enriched by the exchange of experience in terms of cultural management, the implementation of the ECoC program and guidelines. This exchange of experience took place in each of the project''s activities, but especially through the fact that a delegation from Bodo was in Timișoara in February and a delegation from Timișoara was in Bodo in May, but also through the short films promotional and educational documentaries made in Timișoara and through collaboration for the creation of the animation workshop.
All activities contributed in their own way to highlighting the richness and diversity of European cultures, celebrated the cultural traits that Europeans share, increased the sense of belonging of European citizens to a common cultural area. The animation workshop realized through a co-creation process in which young people from Norway, Romania and even other neighboring countries participated emphasized the approach of the bilateral initiative, developed and carried out in cooperation between entities from Romania and entities from Norway, in the context of Timișoara - European Capital of Culture 2023 based on cooperation, improvement of knowledge and mutual understanding between Romania and Norway.
