Summary of the results

Short film "Love Without Words" - this represents in many ways the most ambitious activity within the project, considering the specific challenges of such a success as well as the unique character for our country. For the first time, a film-standard production was made in which hearing-impaired actors played leading roles and had an impact on the central narrative thread. Beyond this aspect, Romanian sign language was highlighted both in the communication of these characters and as a central element in the story. The making of this film went through several stages, the simplest classification of which is: pre-production, production and post-production.

All the activities included in the application were realized:
National Beauty Contest "Miss and Mister Silence 2023, National Dance and Pantomime Festival, Joint Seminar "Cultural Integration of Deaf People from the Perspective of Human Rights,

Press conference on the occasion of the International Day of Sign Languages, March of Silence, Romanian Sign Language Workshop, the "History of the Romanian Deaf Community and Culture" publication.
The creation of this retrospective publication and recognition of the history of the affirmation of people with hearing impairments in our country contributes to better information about a community that is less known from a cultural perspective, beyond the aspect of disability.
