Description
The main objective: to organize a comprehensive campaign to disseminate and inform citizens (especially pupils, students) to promote the role of green/ ecological culture in the sustainable development of urban areas.
Main activities:
• Organizing bilateral visits to strengthen inter-institutional relations
• Promoting the process "Timisoara European Capital of Culture 2023"
• Organizing a summer school for 30 children/ students focused on the concepts like environment citizens, environmental cultural city, personal development in order to promote community values, develop appropriate attitudes
Summary of the results
The main objective of this project was achieved by implementing the following activities:
Preparation of a volume (extended brochures) intended for pre-university education to promote and cultivate the concept of environmental citizenship
Organizing a summer school for over 100 children from various schools
Transfer of expertise with regard to the culture of sustainable development, environmental citizenship and the promotion of the sustainable use of the environment
Dissemination of project results in mass media (press, television, social networks).
