Main objective: to stimulate an open, visionary attitude among citizens to ensure a sustainable future of cities and their culture through an impetus given by civic energy fueled by the culture of the past, present and future.
Main activities:
• Organizing bilateral visits to strengthen inter-institutional relations
• Promoting the process "Timisoara ECC 2023"
• Preparing a course support in cooperation with NTNU with the theme Re-evaluation of city resources for a sustainable future
• Organizing a course (min. 20 participants) with the theme: Re-evaluating the city''s resources for a sustainable
Summary of the results
2 large-scale cultural events were organized to promote cultural diversity: the Bănățene Culture Exhibition, respectively an exhibition entitled Project the future of your city (in this exhibition, students from several institutions in Timișoara participated as exhibitors, thus involving the local community).
Guided tours focused on how the city of Timișoara developed, with an emphasis on the civic energy fueled by the culture of the past, present and future, were organized and implemented.
A trip to Sibiu (former European Capital of Culture) was organized to provide another example of an open, visionary attitude among citizens involved in ensuring a sustainable future of cities and their culture.
