Summary of the results

Aiming at the direct experience and best practices exchange between MozaiQ LGBT and Oslo Pride and building on the Campus Pride project - Advocacy Campaigns for Safe Universities, the project had 2 main activities: working visit to Oslo and to Bucharest. In Oslo, the MozaiQ delegation participated in a panel on the anti-gender movement in Central and Eastern Europe, together with the other delegations in 5 meetings with high Norwegian officials (MPs, ministry representatives, Mayor of Oslo), at the Oslo Pride Business Forum, at the Pride Parade. In Bucharest, the Oslo Pride delegation facilitated a workshop on the functioning of NGOs and volunteering, attended a stakeholders networking party, and participated in the Pride march. At the Rainbow Breakfast they spoke about the O.P.B.F. model. The communication activities amplified the messages of the activities and the need for cooperation. The main outcome is the bilateral one, cementing the relationship between the 2 organisations, the concrete exchange of working models and the promise of a long-term partnership. The outcomes involve disseminating the Campus Pride report and the project’s results to the Norwegian public at panels, official and networking meetings; informing 109 beneficiaries in Bucharest about Oslo Pride''s work. An unplanned outcome is the creation of working relationships with organisations in Eastern and Central Europe through Oslo Pride''s international programme.
