Description

In addition to training, this joint work will allow the strengthening of the cooperation network, the recognition of new European practices and the realization of efforts that could be the first step towards future projects.The general objective is the development of experiences, competences and specialization in the area of volunteer’s management and the specific objective is the development of learning actions and exchange of knowledge and experiences with a view to capacity-building and the reinforcement of interaction, collaboration and cooperation with entities from the Donor Countries

Summary of the results

The "New approach to volunteer’s management" initiative shared volunteer management practices between two entities with different realities, strengthening cooperation and recognizing new European practices. A capacity-building event took place in Tomar, Portugal, involving 12 participants. This event focused on areas such as Activities Impact, Feedback, Member Management, Diversity, and Negotiation & Branding. Additionally, a local strategy meeting was held with 18 participants, concentrating on volunteer management, evaluation, and team motivation. Finally, a sharing practices event occurred in Norway, with 8 participants. This event facilitated the exchange of results, competencies, and learning acquired, involving local sections for diverse perspectives. These activities were crucial in enhancing volunteer management practices and fostering collaboration between the entities involved.
