Description

The main aim of the initiative is to develop the bilateral business relations of Polish and Norwegian clusters. The expected bilateral benefits are to establish new business contacts, find contractors, exchange information, and gather new experiences. There are two types of planned activities: 1) webinar with presentations on e.g.: international cooperation, expansion and internationalisation of cluster activities, cluster management excellence, R&D&I cooperation and supporting technology transfer in clusters, building brand and image of clusters, followed by: 2) b2b matchmaking session among

Summary of the results

PARP, with the participation of Innovation Norway, prepared and implemented the webinar and b2b online matchmaking event "Cluster benchmarking 2020: Polish clusters potential and Polish-Norwegian cooperation" on 26th May 2021. Online webinar transmission has been provided and b2b meetings among participants took place via the b2match system.

The transfer of current expert knowledge and experiences of Polish and Norwegian clusters, especially related to the internationalization of their activities is among the main results of the "Benchmarking of clusters 2020 - potential of clusters in Poland and Polish-Norwegian cooperation" event. The webinar part encompassed 4 experts'' insights intertwined with 5 best practices presentations from selected clusters representatives. The topics of speeches revolved around thematic areas of the program, such as decarbonisation and circular economy; also the possibility to obtain European funds for joint undertakings of Polish-Norwegian partnerships in this area were discussed. The effects also include contacts established during the matchmaking session between cluster organizations from Poland and Norway. The event was attended by 57 people, including 46 participants from Poland, 7 from Norway, 2 from Slovakia, 1 from Greece and 1 from Belgium.
