Description

The aim of the initiative is development of bilateral business relations of Polish and Norwegian companies in the welfare/rehabilitation industry. A seminar on a Norwegian specialisation within this industry and a business-mixer with Norwegian companies are going to be organised during Rehabilitacja trade fair in Lodz, and will be targeted at participants of the trade fair and other interested companies. The costs will include travel and accommodation for 10 Norwegian entrepreneurs coming to Poland to participate in the event.

Summary of the results

The main aim of the initiative was to develop bilateral business relations of Polish and Norwegian companies in the welfare/rehabilitation industry. Rehabilitacja trade fair in Lodz scheduled for 8th-9th October 2020, which was the originally planned arena for the event, has been cancelled.

According to the Cooperation Committee resolution no. 2/2020 from 23.06.2020, (§1 (7)) the real-life event has been replaced by online matchmaking and webinar on 8th October 2020. 

The webinar has been transmitted via MS Teams application, 10 am - 1 pm. There were 3 slots with presentations from 2 Norwegian and 3 Polish speakers on perspectives for the development of the rehabilitation industry, modern physiotherapy: innovative treatments, new equipment and the post-COVID-19 Rehabilitation, preceded and concluded with presentations on the essence Polish-Norwegian business cooperation. 30 participants took place in the event, including 26 Polish companies and 4 Norwegian entities (3 companies and 1 university) and 1 Polish-Norwegian meeting was held.

There were no major deviations from originally approved, the indicative formula for this initiative.
