Travel Grants in the lump sum of 1200 euro each, for Polish and Norwegian entities interested in project partnerships for joint applications for grants in the call announced by PARP.
Summary of the results
The application period of Travel Grants call for proposals lasted from 19/11/2019 to 31/01/2020. There were 59 applications selected for funding out of nearly 180 applications submitted, but 8 applicants withdrew, so grant contracts were concluded with 51 beneficiaries.
The COVID-19 pandemic negatively influenced the possibility to travel and arrange meetings and PARP, as the Operator, extended deadlines for travels and meetings to 30/09/2020 (originally 20/03/2020) and cost settlement to 12/10/2020. Moreover, all beneficiaries that incurred costs for travels, but could neither complete it nor get back the money, were eligible to apply for the grant. They had to prove that their trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic and that the payment for their trip had been done before 24/04/2020 along with the statement from the service provider refusing the refund.
The final Travel Grant call for proposal results are:
- 37 contracts implemented and settled,
- 4 rejected payment claims,
- 10 contract terminations due to COVID-19 pandemic.
