Description

The aim of the project will be to perform a comprehensive comparative study in the area of ​​road safety of Poland and Norway, and prepare a final report in the field of road safety. The study will consist of: 

• diagnosis of the legal status in the field of regulations relating to security in road traffic;

• diagnosis of the functioning of the safety management system in road traffic Poland - Norway;

• diagnosis of how to assess the safety of road traffic in Norway and Poland;

• indication of Norwegian activities in the area of ​​improving road safety, their assessment with an indication of

Summary of the results

Cooperation with Norwegian Partner allowed Polish police officer to familiarise themselves with solutions regarding road safety that are in place.

During implementation of the initiative 12 representatives of Polish police took part in study visit in Norway. Thanks to this study visit representatives of Polish police decided what specific aspects of Polish and Norwegian solutions for road safety they would like to assess in comparative study. After constructing a concept of comparative study, contractor was chosen to conduct it.

Result of the conducted study is material printed and distributed within the police, and also published in Polish and in English on this site link
