Description

The project "Believe in yourself" will be implemented on August 21-30, 2022 in Biały Dunajec. The project involves 25 mothers and 30 children. Activities undertaken under the project are based on non-formal education and are aimed at the process of social integration of the project participants. The workshop program is structured in such a way that it encourages participants to actively participate, share their knowledge and experiences. Summary of the results

A quality initiative. The initiative , "Believe in yourself" was implemented from 21-30.08.2022 in Biały Dunajec in partnership with the Municipality of Proszowice. Activities implemented under the project used methods of non-formal education and were aimed at the process of social integration of project participants. The program of workshops was structured in such a way that it encouraged participants to actively participate, share their knowledge and experiences. The project had a positive impact on the mental condition of workshop participants, supporting the process of building self-esteem and coping with trauma. The activities implemented as part of the project effectively supported the process of social integration and had a positive impact on functioning in society. Activities aimed at children were divided into two groups (by age). For younger children, art classes, sports and movement activities and going to the swimming pool were implemented. Language classes in the form of games were also organized. For older children, the Beneficiary prepared dance classes, educational classes (including orienteering, acquiring manual and technical skills), language classes, sports, handicrafts. All children participated in a sports and educational picnic and a mountain trip to the Koscieliska Valley. The initiative was promoted in many ways, especially among the Ukrainian refugee community.
