Description

The project assumes from implementation at therapeutic and educational activities for mothers - refugees from Ukraine due to the ongoing armed conflict and therapeutic and care activities for their children. The support will focus on psychological support (in the form of workshops) for adult participants of the camp along with activities aimed at personal development in the emotional and social sphere, aimed at increasing self-confidence and classes aimed at dealing with the trauma associated with war and need to leave homes, as well as classes allowing for better acceptance at this change and

Summary of the results

The project assumed the implementation of therapeutic and educational activities for mothers - refugees from Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict
armed and therapeutic and caring activities for their children. In total, the project covered 51 people (20 mothers with 31 children). The support focused on psychological support (in the form of workshops) for adults participants of the camp along with activities aimed at personal development in the emotional and social sphere, the activities had aimed at increasing self-confidence and dealing with the trauma of war, as well as activities to accept change and to cope with a different reality. In terms of activities aimed at children, therapeutic, educational and care activities in the field of development were held ´
social skills, eliminating educational problems and help in accepting changes in life. In terms of activities
activities aimed at relaxation and rest from current problems with simultaneous ˙building a sense of unity, learning about culture and recreation.
The camp was held at the seaside, in Łazy, in the form of a 7-day therapeutic and educational camp. The therapeutic and recreational goals were implemented, albeit with slight changes, due to the change of location from Warmia and Mazury to a seaside town.
