Description

The Artchata Foundation is involved in many aid initiatives for Ukrainian citizens, organizes cash collections, and transports necessary articles to Ukraine (food, hygiene products, dressings, clothing). Another step aimed at supporting refugees is the organization of a 14-day stay for 25 mothers + 34 children aged 3 to 16. Summary of the results

All assumptions made at the preliminary stage were realized:
- providing support in dealing with traumatic experiences,
- enabling women and children to spend time in a calm and friendly atmosphere, allowing them to break away from the difficult war situation through artistic and pro-ecological activities,
- participants'' interest in improving new artistic techniques, strengthening self-esteem,
- integration of participants through joint activities,
- classes with qualified psychological staff that allow you to cope with difficult experiences.
The following activities took place under the project:
- integration of participants with Poles, thus eliminating cultural differences (evenings with the artists of Piwnica Pod Baranami, meetings with the local community: a common fire, cooking),
- classes for adults in the form of art therapy,
- therapeutic classes with a psychologist,
- activities for children, incl. educational games and activities, board games, art classes,
- excursions:
•Kraków-Częstochowa Jura combined with a visit to the castle in Pieskowa Skała,
• a cruise on the Vistula River on the Wawel-Tyniec-Wawel route combined with information, interesting facts provided by a guide about Krakow and the surrounding area,
•Krakow Zoo and a walk in the Wolski Forest,
• around Krakow - guided tour of Wawel, the Cloth Hall, underground of the Main Square,
•Częstochowa - visiting the museum at the monastery. Pauline Fathers and participation in the service).
