Summary of the results

The initiative aimed at organizing educational workshops for female refugees from Ukraine and their children during the summer holiday, thus combining useful activities to expand knowledge, mental horizons and selected skills with relaxing ways of spending free time, leading to the strengthening of family ties. The content of the workshops was based on the diagnosed needs of the target groups. These were, among others soft, linguistic, educational, professional and social competences (including the development of interests).

The aim of the initiative was to equip all project participants with valuable competences, skills and knowledge that could facilitate their functioning in the Polish reality and in the Polish labor market, at the same time supporting individual participants in discovering their talents, as well as exploring the Polish culture and integrating them into the Polish society.

The evaluation carried out at the end of the project showed that the participants positively evaluated their holiday workshops in Porszewice. They were very pleased with the variety of proposed activities and the venue itself, situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The participants regarded the proposed workshops as effective, thus expanding their knowledge, raising their skills, tightening familiy bonds, as well as strengthening faith in their abilities.
