Description

Main objective to project is to support 50 refugees (mothers with children) in finding themselves in a difficult situation and their activation and socio-professional integration during summer holidays. The target group for support are Ukrainian citizens with refugee status as defined in art.1 sec. 1 of the Act of 12 March 2022 on assistance for Ukrainian citizens in connection with armed conflict on the territory of the country. The proposed activities will be addressed to 20 adult Ukrainian citizens (mothers or legal guardians) and their 30 children aged 7-11, residing in Poland - mainly in

Summary of the results

Participants of the project gained competencies necessary for active inclusion in the socio-professional, integration and economic life of Polish society, thanks to participation in the proposed forms of support. The project was implemented in accordance with the application, with the exception of the number of trainers employed to conduct field workshops on sightseeing (instead of the 1 person assumed in the application, the classes were conducted simultaneously by 2 people). This was dictated by the tight schedule and limited time of the camp, as well as the request of participants (in the case of the field workshop on sightseeing), especially children, to adventure together on the path of dinosaurs. The above changes did not affect the project budget in any way. With the consent of the Operator, transfers were also made in the budget from the category of personnel costs from the position of educator to the position of Ukrainian language interpreter, to whom the number of hours was increased from 5 to 9 h per day. The age category of children was also expanded from 7-11 years to 6-12 years. Expanding the age by a year allowed mothers to participate with all their children. Children aged 6-7 and 11-12 are at a similar developmental level, so such a small age discrepancy did not result in substantive changes to the project or affect the way the workshops were conducted, but allowed us to help refugees in need.
