Description

The purpose of the preparatory visit of three representatives of the non-governmental organisation from Poland - IWR, is to meet live representatives of the newly-known partner organisation from Norway - Nordland County Office. Through a live meeting, they want to establish long-term cooperation, prepare and plan a joint project, which they plan to submit to the Education in Component I Sector Programme Professional development of staff, intensive training in the call in 2021. Summary of the results

Thanks to the organized preparatory visit, the Applicant and the Partner had the opportunity to get to know each other better and establish cooperation. The issues raised during the meetings and the knowledge of people with whom the members from Poland had the opportunity to talk, outlined the idea of ​​spending time outdoors and the benefits of it. The partner presented in an accessible way the projects carried out as part of his activities, explained their positive impact on young people and children, and outlined the methods of implementing his innovative methods. During the joint discussion, the differences and similarities in the education systems of both countries were analyzed, mainly in the context of time and outdoor learning. Significant differences in the approach to outdoor activities in Norway and Poland were noticed, and different approaches to spending time outdoors were realized. Additionally, thanks to the meetings organized, the participants of the visit got acquainted with the Health Promoting Schools program presented by the members of the partner organization. The visit resulted in the willingness to undertake further cooperation in the creation of the main project, on which work had initially commenced. Thanks to the meeting, it was possible to clarify, detail and plan a joint future project under the program.
