Description
The project assumptions correspond with one of priority areas of the Education programme - development and promotion of the VET sector, as well as with the collaboration of educational institutions with employers. The project aims at the design of a new form of vocational education for students, who after completing education and graduation will be able to work in metal industry enterprises.
Summary of the results
The direct result of the completed preparatory visit is the submitted project application under Lot III in the Education Program, Institutional Cooperation for Improving the Quality and Adjustment of Education and Training vocational (VET) and lifelong learning, entitled: Strengthening the professional skills of young people in the automated metal industry - adapting vocational education to the requirements of the industry of the future. A properly conducted planning phase lays the foundation for further design activities and allows you to minimize risks and difficulties. The success of the project will undoubtedly be influenced by establishing direct contact with a partner from Norway - Stavanger Offshore Technical College SOTS. Building relationships and good communication are the keys to success successful project. The Feasibility Visit was a great opportunity to meet partners and confirm are leaders and groups ready to cooperate, that they understand each other. The success of the project also depends on communication and mutual understanding. During the APV, all partners had a better understanding of what the goal was project - thanks to this, everyone has more realistic expectations. It was an occasion to analyze again all the details of the project (duration, results, adaptation of working methods to the group and goals, risk area, dissemination channels).
