Description

The aim of the initiative is to begin a bilateral expert discussion about the challenges related to climate change in the context of protection and management of cultural heritage. The role of cultural heritage in processes associated with climate change is a relatively new area of research and expertise, which is why the initiative will be mainly exploratory in nature. 11-13/10/2022 - study visit to Oslo,November 17-18, 2022 study visit to KrakowDuring the visits, the specificity of the Polish legal system for the protection of monuments (including the role of the NID) and the threats resulting from climate change specific to Poland were discussed.The result of the initiative is a report prepared with the participation of the Norwegian partner: Cultural heritage and climate change.
